Minolta Riva 125 Zoom

Description:

Released by Minolta in 2000, the Riva Zoom 125 (also sold as the Freedom Zoom 125) is a straightforward 35mm point-and-shoot built for anyone who wants to load film and start shooting. Its 37.5–125mm zoom lens, six elements in six groups, covers everything from wide snapshots to tighter portraits, with autofocus and a real-image zoom viewfinder that tracks the lens as it extends.

Maximum aperture runs from f/5.4 at the wide end to f/10.3 at full zoom — typical for a compact zoom of this type. ISO is read automatically via DX coding across a 25–3200 range, and the built-in flash covers red-eye reduction, fill-flash, and night modes.

Finished in a brushed aluminum shell, it's a nice-looking little camera as much as a practical one — and at 190g and genuinely pocket-sized, it's easy to carry every day. Runs on a single CR123A battery, good for roughly 300 shots.
