Sony Cyber Shot T2
Description:
Launched in December 2007, the Cyber-shot T2 was Sony's answer to the smartphone camera before smartphones had cameras worth comparing — a slim, all-metal compact built around a touchscreen interface years ahead of its time.
The flush-sliding front cover doubles as the power switch, revealing a 38–114mm (3x optical) Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens at f/3.5–4.3.
The framing and menu navigation run through the 2.7-inch touchscreen LCD, a genuinely novel setup for a 2007 compact. Behind the lens sits an 8.1-megapixel, 1/2.5-inch Super HAD CCD, backed by Sony's Bionz processor and Super SteadyShot stabilization.
We appreciate the "Scrapbook" playback mode, which groups shots by time and lays them out like a digital photo album — a small but genuinely clever touch. A stylish, pocketable digicam with real character.
